The walls of Dwarkamai are made of gold

Shirdi Sai Baba once said, 'The walls of Dwarkamai are made of gold'.

In Shri Sai SatCharitra chapter 34 Sai Baba says

'What my master gives me is real 'giving'

'My Master says , "Take, O take this away!" Everyone says, "Give, give only to me!" (material things). But no one heeds my words. No one listens to me attentively.

"His treasury is overflowing, but no one cares to bring the carts. Nobody will dig, when asked to do so. Nobody bothers to do so. No one bothers to make effort."

" I say, 'Dig the wealth and carry it away by the cart loads."

Sai Baba was indicating to the spiritual wealth, the divine love, the divine care that is present and overflowing waiting for the ones to fill them up with the same.

But sadly, most who go there have different things on their minds. The minds are too occupied with the material gold as it feels that the material gold will bring an end to most of their problems. It forgets that in divine love is the assurance of the much more than the gold could ever gives. Everything is taken care of when the mind is set totally on divine the divine takes care of whatever is needed.

Ah, but most of us lack that faith. Most of us think that let the gold come first, let other things that i desire come first. It uses a trick, God is always there, God is in out hearts, so let's worry about everything else other than God or divine love.

Real gold is the divine love and our mind and heart should be yearning for it. It is very easy to say God is in our heart and worry about other things, a little bit difficult to yearn for His divine love and divine love alone.

Further in the Sai Satcharitra chapter Sai Baba also says

"I need to go somewhere sometimes, I just go and sit down at the same place. But mind is caught in the bewilderment of Maya and suffers a deep plunge. This Maya is very difficult to overcome and reduce me to piteous condition. Day and night, I keep thinking of my own people."

"As you sow, so you reap. He who will bear in minds the words I have uttered, will enjoy priceless happiness."

Aum Shri SaiNathaya Namaha.

Rhonda Byrne - TheSecret - Daily Teachings

When a big change occurs in your life it forces you to change direction. Sometimes the new path may not be easy, but you can be absolutely certain that there is magnificence for you on the new path.

You can be absolutely certain that the new path contains things that you could not have experienced otherwise.

When we look back at a negative event that occurred in the past, we often see how in fact it transformed our life. We see how that event directed us toward a life that we would not change for anything. -

Paramhansa Yogananda

If you want to be sad, no one in the
world can make you happy.

But if you make up your mind to be happy, no one and nothing on earth can take that happiness from you.

In the final analysis, it is between you and your God, and not between you and them.

Sometimes we spend time asking who is responsible or whom to blame, whether in a relationship, in a job or with the people we know. We miss out some warmth in human relationship to give each other support. Treasure what you have.

Just a little story ....

A boy was born to a couple after eleven years of marriage. They were a loving couple and the boy was the apple of their eyes. When the boy was around two years old, one morning the husband saw a medicine bottle open. He was late for work so he asked his wife to cap the bottle and keep it in the cupboard.  His wife, preoccupied in the kitchen totally forgot the matter. The boy saw the bottle and playfully went tothe bottle and fascinated by its color, drank it all. It happened to be a poisonous medicine meant for adults in small dosages. When the child collapsed the mother hurried him to the hospital, where he died. The mother was stunned. She was terrified how to face her husband.

When the distraught father came to the hospital and saw the dead child, he looked at his wife and uttered just four words. The husband just said "I Love You Darling" The husband's totally unexpected reaction is aproactive behavior. The child is dead. He can never be brought back to life. There is no point in finding fault with the mother. Besides, if only he had taken time to keep the bottle away, this would not have happened. No one is to be blamed. She had also lost her only child. What she needed at that moment was consolation and sympathy from the husband. That is what he gave her.

If everyone can look at life with this kind of perspective, there would be much fewer problems in the world.

"A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step." Take off all your envies, jealousies,  selfishness, and fears. And you will find things are actually not as difficult as you think.

" A successful relationship requires falling in love many times ----- with the same person."

In the final analysis, it is between you and your God, and not between you and them.

How Wonderful Human Birth Is !

For each individual, a mission in life is fixed by God. Only those who have grasped their objective in life will succeed. Baba used to comment, "There is nothing wrong in failing to accomplish an objective, but having no objective is a blunder". Trees give us the comfort of cool shade, flowers and fruits, without anticipating anything in return from us. Cows yield milk as a mark of gratitude for the fodder we feed them. Selflessly, the clouds shower rain and the rivers share their waters to irrigate the farm lands. On a deeper analysis, we could understand that every creature in this universe, by one way or other, possess the noble quality of sacrifice. It is not justified if we, the humans, blessed as we are with the power of discretion and intellect, live lazily without any sense of direction or mission in life.

Baba loves us as dearly as He loves every living being in the Universe. Our inner voice of the soul would guide us on the right path to successful living once we know the truth that we should fulfil the definite mission in our lives blessed by the Divine Love and Grace of Baba. The power in our hands can carve out a statue from a stone or leave it as a boulder. So, let us not waste our precious life and keep praying to Baba to help us achieve the definite purpose of our life.

Put the Glass Down

A professor began his class by holding up a glass with some water in it. He held it up for all to see and asked the students,' How much do you think this glass weighs?'

'50gms!'.... '100gms!'.....'125gms'...the students answered.

What would happen if I held it up like this for a few minutes?

'Nothing' the students said.

'Ok what would happen if I held it up like this for an hour?' the professor asked.

'Your arm would begin to ache' said one of the students.

You're right, now what would happen if I held it for a day?'

'Your arm could go numb, you might have severe muscle stress and paralysis and have to go to hospital for sure!' ventured another student and all the students laughed.

'Very good. But during all this, did the weight of the glass change?’ asked the professor.

'No'

'Then what caused the arm ache and the muscle stress?'

'Put the glass down!' said one of the students.

'Exactly!' said the professor.' Life's problems are something like this. Hold it for a few minutes in your head and they seem OK. Think of them for a long time & they begin to ache. Hold it even longer and they begin to paralyze you.'

It's important to think of the challenges (problems) in your life, but EVEN more important to 'put them down' at the end of every day before you go to sleep. That way, you are not stressed, you wake up every day fresh and strong & can handle any issue, any challenge that comes your way!

So, when you leave office today, remember to 'PUT THE GLASS DOWN TODAY!'

Be a seeker for the truth and...

Nine qualities a devotee should have...

1. Absence of egoism
2. Absence of jealousy
3. Untiring service
4. Absence of worldly desires
5. Complete faith in Guru
6. Peaceful nature
7. Desire to know the truth
8. Absence of envy, and
9. Absence of self-boasting and finding faults in others.

Unless a devotee improved these nine qualities, he could not have true devotion to reach God. Thus Baba taught to Lakshmi Bai even in his last moments.

Good Life

How people treat you is their Karma

Commit Yourself to Human Service, And Receive BABA'S Grace.

This is the way to happiness.
Let others and the world turn topsy-turvy, but do not mind that; keep on to your own straight course.

Read Sai leelas and feel His presence.

The kind and merciful Sai Baba said many a time the following sweet words in the Masjid : "He who loves Me most, always sees Me. The whole world is desolate to him without Me, he who tells no stories but Mine; he ceaselessly meditates upon Me and always chants My name. I feel indebted to him who surrenders himself completely to Me, and ever remembers Me.

I shall repay his debt by giving him salvation (self-realization).

I am dependent on him, who thinks and hungers after Me and who does not eat anything, without first offering it to Me.

He who thus comes to Me, becomes one with Me, just as a river gets to the sea and becomes merged (one) with it.

So, leaving out pride and egoism and with no trace of them, you should surrender yourself to Me, Who is seated in your heart."

Saibaba

However distance-even thousands of miles away- my
people might be, I draw them to myself, just as we
pull bird to us with a string tied to their foot.

If you look at what you have in life, you'll always have more.

"If you look at what you have in life, you'll always have more.
If you look at what you don't have in life, you'll never have enough."
